Slough Science: Mason Bees

  • Double Mountain Overlook Taproom 1700 North Killingsworth Street Portland, OR, 97217 United States (map)

Join Columbia Slough Watershed Council for the monthly Slough Science event series! This month we are excited to welcome Elaine Murphy for a conversation about mason bees. Come learn more about these amazing pollinators role in nature, about the life cycle of our native mason bee, and learn more about how you can start your own backyard colony. We’ll also be raffling off a mason bee box at the event!

Getting there: This event will be held in event space at Double Mountain Brewing on Killingsworth. Free neighborhood parking is available. Public Transportation? Bus line 72 makes a stop right out front. The MAX yellow line also makes nearby stops.

Double Mountain: This is an all ages venue. Food and drinks (alcoholic and NA) can be purchased in the brewery throughout the event.

Accessibility: Seating will be available throughout the event. A restroom is available on site.
